About Me.
Hello! Im Kirstey Landwehr, an independent hairstylist based out of Lincoln, but live in Syracuse! I love effortless, lived in color and extension that grow out beautifully and fit real life! Outside of the salon, I am a boy mom of two (Dean and Lawrence). You will find me socializing with friends anywhere and everywhere: Volleyball, golf courses, bars, backyards etc, I have to keep up with my husband, Austin -iykyk. Im just a girls girl that loves a great convo.

2013-2014
College of Hair Design East Campus
In Jan of 2013 I started the journey of hair school and completed the 14 month program in March of 2014. That summer, I worked at Mahoney Golf course as a cart girl while still working at JCpenny Salon as a receptionist till Aug. After summer, I got a job at Super Cuts by Target on 48th and knew there was something greater waiting!

*My Big Girl Job*
It’s incredible to reflect on my journey at Sweet Jane! I started as a newcomer in the newly commission salon, faced with a new atmosphere and new way of working. There were weeks when I only made around $150, but the passion for what I was doing that kept me going. First of the year in 2016, I took the leap into booth rent when the vibe switched again, thanks to Paetra, and I’ve never looked back. I still cherish the clients from those early days at Sweet Jane!

Welcome to my second home and family! Since 2018, my journey as a seasoned stylist has been filled with incredible moments, from navigating the challenges of COVID, my wedding to embracing the of two maternity leaves with my little ones. I feel truly blessed and look forward to continuing this journey surrounded by the best people my life!
In January 2019, went to Dallas, TX and got certified by WBR for weft extensions. Then right away in February, I also got certified in Bellami weft extensions and have been loving extension ever since!
